Telegraph Road (The Series): New Update 1
I choose to retitle this series in the long line of entries from my previous blog about the series that Ted Hobgood and I have been creating for the past two years. For one, it is a series, and two: this is my new blog. Oh and three, Ted is the fucking man. CageMatch…chello?
Since such last entry, a lot of things have happened. I have sent, at the most, five scripts, to the five cast members who are involved in this series. These five have not said word one that they have read them, nor that they are interested. Thus is the life of a writer trying to get a cast greenlighted. I shall ever be standing by the phone for my friends to call, or for Facebook to tell me I have a new message.
My Father recently just bought a new Chevy truck (white). I thought this was awesome, one episode has a white truck in it. What up! On a personal level, we’re both working on rebuilding my Dad’s old house. His birthday was today, he just turned 68 and he’s more in shape than me (thanks Jack Daniels). Happy birthday Dad, you don’t read this, but fuck it, it’s here.
Other than that, I have a new job (Vis-Art), which means more cash for me and for the show. Ted and I are still on for the pre-production. It’s like I always say, these things take time. You want to make shit? Or do you want to make history. That’s a quote by Lincoln.
One, two, buckle my show, evil!
